Rush Hour – no, not the movie

There are days I forget how fortunate we are to have a house on the west side of town, and jobs that are either further west (John) or just south of downtown but east of the N/S highway (me). Then there are days like today when I have to drive from the house to the airport (across the upper middle of the metroplex) at 4pm on ‘happy hour day’. And then drive right into the heart of slow-traffic-central to school at 5pm on ‘happy hour day’. So, what I’m really trying to say is, as much as people in FTW don’t know how to drive, at least they drive quickly and get to where they are going and don’t all try to cram into a bottleneck every mile of the highway. Of course today would be the exception. A Miller Light truck somehow got itself half over the edge of the interstate barrier (that drops) on the west side of town. Like, the trailer was on the highway and the cab was twisted and hanging over the edge. Craziness. Traffic is so much fun. Enjoy the country where you can. Off to class.
