"Release. Jog it out."

My new favorite phrase. My new least favorite phrases? = “Crank it up” & “after this one you’ll almost be half-way there!” AHHHHHH! I just finished my first ever ‘spinning’ class tonight. For those of you who have never heard of ‘spinning’, I hate to tell you, it is not fairy princess practice, like twirling. No, it’s much more sinister. It’s like if Snow White went to an exercise class and the witch was her instructor. How do you think that would go…? Ok, so i’m clearly no Snow White (except for the paleness of my complexion this time of year) and the instructor was actually really good. It was the workout! Ah! I don’t even want to think about how much I am going to hurt tomorrow. why? Because of how much I hurt right now. But I think I could be up for some more of this particular brand of punishment. But I think I might be scheduling my birthday massage a lot sooner than I had planned. Oh yeah, and almost no carbs today! (Just some vitamin water during the workout). Hope you all are having a good week. The crockpot is done making chicken chili for us – so nice of it to make dinner, and the Amazing Race is on soon. later.

  • Anonymous - Glad to hear you liked the class! It does kick your butt though, but that’s good because I never motivate myself to work that hard! How’d you feel the next day? After a few times, your butt won’t hurt as much–at least that’s the way it was for me!–J
