The Spring and the Stork

Ok, so 2005 was “The Year of the Weddings”. I went to six weddings. 2006 was “The Year of the Pregnancies”. At least 5 people told me they were pregnant. The next logical step then is of course, 2007 “The Year of the Babies”, and apparently spring is the catalyst. This past week, 2 of the 5 gave birth to healthy little babies. 1 of the 5 beat the rest to it and delivered her baby at the end of ’06. Overachiever. 😉 So we’ve got 4 babies to go.

Huh?

We’ve got a single coming and a set of triplets to go yet. Not bad. Six weddings. Five pregnancies. & Seven babies. Nice little cohort.

Just so you know, none of the pregnant folks were the ones who got married in ’05. They’re apparently getting pregnant THIS year. You people are hard to keep track of!

That’s all. Just my statistical brain rattling off numbers.

Shall we start taking bets on the marriage/preg numbers for this year? I’ve got two weddings and one pregnancy announced so far that I know of.

  • Mielinski - so when can we expect baby kelbaugh? i want grandkids!!!!!

  • k - Funny Dan. Very funny. No soup for you.

    no.

  • JaNae - That’s what I’m waiting for—your announcement! It could be the year of the Kelbaughs!

  • K - Down people, down! I just heard of at least 4 more people who are pregnant, so the quota’s all filled up for this year. =)

Anyways, I’m not a joiner. Ya’ll should know that. I’m not going to do it just because everyone else is. What did your mother’s teach you!?! hehe.

  • Mielinski - that is…it’s official! im starting the Karyn Kelbaugh pregnancy pool! you can buy a week of your choice for just $1. and any week between now and December (9 months) is half price!

  • k - Dude. you’re weird. stick to March Madness.

  • gauri - Count me out-not planning on getting preggers until I’m at least 30. At least.
