On a much happier note, I ran a 5k this weekend, the Buffalo Boogie, and I dropped almost 3 minutes off of my time! The last 5k race I ran was the Turkey Trot last Thanksgiving in 34m 22s. I ran the Boogie in 31m 26s!! My goal this year is to run a 5k in under 30 minutes. woohoo! This cheetah thing is apparently working. I can only imagine how fast I’d be if I followed my workouts 100%! =)
They posted our official times for the Buffalo Boogie, and I actually ran it in 31m 19s !!! Woohoo!
