Another day, another fat test. I went in this morning for a bodyfat/caliper measure today. It’s only been 2 months since my last one, but I wanted to get an idea of what condition/shape I was in around the time of my triathlon. I knew I had gained a couple pounds since my last visit – but apparently, they were all lean mass. Now, if I could just LOSE those pounds in fat, that would be super. I have a dress I need to fit into in 3 weeks and currently it doesn’t fit so well. LAST year at this time, it fit quite nicely, but that’s because my body was apparently still in shock that I was running and was just losing fat all over the place. Now, it has accepted this new running lifestyle and is fighting back, by holding on to everything it can. So the plan for right now is to eat well, but lean for the next 2 weeks leading up to my race, and then if it still doesn’t fit well, then go SB phase 1 for a week to make sure it fits. I hate to do that because I know the backlash won’t be fun, but I really want to fit into that dress!
