My portfolio project looks like…

What in the world.

I feel sometimes now that I am being pulled into this creative, photo-ish, brainstorming world of making and doing. I feel (at least today) that it is not so much me going forward into the unknown, as it is me discovering a path that has been there, waiting patiently for me to turn the corner and find it. LITERALLY, every day since I started even imagining doing more with this camera stuff, I have stumbled upon, been sent, encountered someone or something new that fits right into how I can do more and learn more and be more. It is completely amazing to me. My brain is almost overwhelmed with all that is out there.

Today, just today, I found a wonderful person/site and an idea: The Portfolio Project.   A way to start the year creative. A way to build your body of work, to push yourself to just MAKE. So, not wanting to disrupt the recent pattern of just jumping in, I’m going for it. I don’t KNOW what it will look like yet. Part of me wants to keep it as broad as I can, but to still have a point, a purpose. I think it may get more focused along the way, but for now it’s big and wide and endless in my head.

This oughta be interesting.

  • Bob R. Smith - please no pictures of me with rabbit ears no matter how insane u get. Thanks.

  • Karyn - see, now you just gave me an idea. 😉

  • K-B - Looking forward to an exciting year of my favorite people….and documented in pictures- BKF

  • Amber (Homeschool Diva) - I can’t wait to see what you come up with. I know EXACTLY what you mean. I saw the toast pic on SS and was drawn to it immediately and then saw that it was you. Good job! Don’t forget to submit it to Photo Friday!
