This Week Has Been…Different {Life Stuff}

Has your week been weird? Mine has been weird. Not bad weird, actually good weird.  I’m not used to good weird.  My schedule was all messed up. Working in the evening, phoning-it-in for dinner (quite literally sometimes). And yes, I just linked to the definition of ‘phoning it in’ because every time I used that phrase – NO ONE knows what I’m talking about.  Unless of course you have done the 30 day shred dvd and then you know very well.  So this week all around was different.

The early part of the week involved a little bit of babysitting – good times – and helping to run some focus groups in the evening – also good times.  AND taking my girl Rita Pita shopping since she’s all skinny and super awesome and needed to get some new hot momma clothes! Wednesday I was uncharacteristically (that is a long word) productive and got everything on my to do list (for Wednesday) done! Seriously.  Thursday, I made up for (this is what I’m telling myself, shhhh) not working out all week so far by getting my workout done first thing in the morning. [miracle].  Then I got to go to Dallas to hang out with my new wonderful photo friend Catie Ronquillo! and we tried this lovely coffee shop called Murray Street Coffee Shop and then went to the Paper Source and it was everything I thought it would be and more… Thank you Catie for being patient with my indecisive self. Oh, AND, I got even more Christmas Mini Session bookings this week! Sweetness! I’m so excited to do all these upcoming sessions!!! Oh, and I totally didn’t mention the best news – really – my friend Mel had her baby!!! He is beautiful and healthy and perfect. Welcome new baby!!!! I can’t wait to come meet you and take your picture!!

And tonight we’re going to the Texas State Fair.  Of COURSE I’m bringing the camera. Are you kidding me? 😉

So aside from the crazy idea brain induced (and storm induced) insomnia this week  – it was weird and good and productive. Good times.

So, how was your week?

psssssstt…. i put up 2 free desktop wallpapers on the Goodies page – give ’em a try and see if they work for you – please let me know if you have any trouble. THANKS!

  • Katie in MA - It is such a Jillian phrase, isn’t it? When you first used it, I was all ‘Hey, I hear that a lot – who doesn’t know that?!’ And then when you mentioned the DVD Of Death, I realized why. 🙂

    But YAY you! Sounds like you’re having a kickass week!
