Do You Photojojo? | Time Capsule May 2010

Do you photojojo?  If so, isn’t it great?!!!  If not, um, why?   Hehe, just kidding.  Seriously though, is like a playground for photo/crafty/gadgety loving adults AND kids.  They have this lovely feature you can sign up for called Photo Time Capsule – where they go back and pull a few images from your account from one year ago, about 2 times a month, and send you an email.  It’s pretty much just a friendly little – hey look what you were taking photos of LAST year at this time.   It’s a great way to rediscover photos you’ve forgotten, or even a project you’ve let sit in the background that you might pick up again.   Heck, it might even remind you that you haven’t been running as much as your should, shame on you.  Ahem.  Don’t have a account either?  Well that is simply remedied – especially because all of these things are FREE!

Personally, I think is one of the best ways to share your photos with the world and it’s a great way to meet people with similar photo interests and get some high fives and good critiques of your work – if that’s what you’re after.  Now, I must admit I was pretty Flickr intense over much of 2008 and 2009, but my Flickr posting frequency has dwindled over the past few months.  I’m hoping to remedy that soon.  In the meantime, I’m enjoying all these photos from my time capsule emails.

Here are the photos that Photojojo saw fit to send me this month! (Keep in mind this WAS during the 365 project, so there are way too many pics of yours truly)

I really do love this apron. It made several appearances last year.

Ah, the body fat test.  I should probably get another one of those done soon.  It won’t be pretty, but at least it will be motivating…

We just had to replace that window shade behind me, like, this week. The cord finally frazzled out on us.  The new one is pretty cool, and a little darker to match the cabinets.  If I just had a method of showing what it looked like…hmm, will have to think on that one 😉

to just be

Nuff said. =)

  • Katie in MA - A very cool feature, indeed!

And I must ask – who is that doggy in your header? She looks like my childhood dog, Goldie. She was part Border Collie, part springer spaniel (and all crazy) and looks a lot like your doggy!

  • Karyn - I am assuming you mean the lovely goldish shaggy one who looks likes she’s ready for her close-up? If so, she is a sweet old thing who lives in Ohio on a farm near my sisters house. I was photographing her “Mom’s” family produce farm and it was like she knew I was coming to see her and take her photo. So sweet.
