Tag Archives: ohio Did I mention the weather was wonderful in Ohio? =) Although I did mostly hang around my hometown for most of the trip, I did get to venture into parts of Ohio where I’ve never been, thanks to Chris & Hope!! They live in northwestern Ohio and it is sooo beautiful up there right now. …  I spent the last week in a magical place where the daily high was about 83 degrees. Yes, I’m talking about Ohio in summer time. Now to hear my family and friends, it was hot, or humid or something. To me, after this summer of always too many 100 and something degree days, every moment…  The Chihuly Exhibit at the Frankin Park Conservatory in Columbus, Ohio. We visited on Christmas Eve. I’ll just let the images of the wonderful artwork and beautiful plants do the talking. And… a little taste of the wintery craziness outside in Columbus. You are never too old to play in the snow. =) Ever.  Had a great time at home last week. I was just thinking this monday morning as I drank my coffee… one week ago I was sleeping on an air mattress in Em’s house with a wonderful princess pillow and Enchanted still repeating in the background because we were too tired to get up and turn… I can’t believe how fast this week in Ohio is going! I’ve only got two days left. J and the cat are doing fine, but I am missing them. Though I am certainly enjoying my time with family and friends this week. I have TONS of photos and TONS of video from the week so… |
