Remote blogging

While I often write posts from locations other than my home, it is usually on my own computer. Tonight, I am posting from one of my reader’s (on occasion) computers. Thanks Dan. Dan’s fence suffered a fate similar to what happened to our’s before we moved into our house. The wind blew it down. At least part of it. So, the guys who thought they would “never again” be digging through rocks, mixing concrete and sinking posts…..are in Dan’s back yard doing just that. Thankfully, Dan doesn’t have a very large backyard. But I am sure if I said that to them right now I would have something thrown at me, and it would probably be muddy. But it’s not 100 degrees, it’s actually closer to 60! But with all of the storms we’ve had, now the issue has been holes that are full of water. But they’ve only got a few more posts to go, and like Dan said, “It can’t get any darker”, so they continue to work. So why am I sitting here typing and not getting dirty you ask? Well, I was working elsewhere all day until about 7pm when I came by to check on them, and I am staying clean, so that when they need one of the many items that is in the ‘no mud zone’, I get it. =) I know, poor excuse, but I did carry on the Frantom women tradition of bringing them dinner. And yes mom, its was fast food. And I didn’t even have to hunt them down and guess which field they were in! I still can’t believe that THAT wasn’t enough to make you (Mom) want to get a cell phone sooner. Later.
